Hello! My name is Christina Gonzalez and I am a State of Texas Licensed Professional Counselor.

I graduated from Texas A&M University-Kingsville with a Bachelors in Psychology and Sociology, Masters of Science in Guidance and Counseling, and earned a Doctoral Certificate in Higher Education Administration Leadership.

Each person is individually unique so I enjoy working with clients in the person-centered methodologies of cognitive-behavioral and reality therapy, as well as solution-focused therapy. I also have a passion for promoting wellness. The eight components of the Wellness Wheel are fundamental for our progression through life: Intellectual, Emotional, Occupational, Environmental, Financial, Cultural, Physical and Social.

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and watching movies with my family.

Hi! My name is Bri Foresman. I am an LPC-Associate and LCDC-I supervised by Shawna Munson, PhD, LPC-S, LMFT-S. I recently graduated from Lamar University with a Master of Education in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling. I graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2009, followed by a Master of Science in Research Psychology in 2012. In pursuit of my M.S., I studied the social and emotional differences associated with autism spectrum disorder and individual differences in emotion perception across media. Following my graduation, I began a career in education and taught self-contained special education for 12 years. During that time, I saw the toll trauma, stress, and adversities can have on an individual and the family system. My time in the classroom taught me the importance of making connections and showed me the impact feeling heard, valued, and supported can have on an individual’s outcomes. These realizations are what motivated me to start my journey to becoming a counselor.

I approach counseling from a client-centered perspective and incorporate elements of cognitive-behavioral and strength-based therapy. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families and am interested in issues such as anxiety, mood disturbances, interpersonal relationships, and family dynamics. My goals as a counselor are to build a collaborative relationship with my clients and create a safe and nonjudgmental space for them to explore their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and interactions. I believe people have the ability to solve their own problems and achieve change, they just might need a little help along the way.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and two very spoiled dogs. I am a very active person and love to be outside! I like to relax with a good book, catching up on my shows, or spending time in my butterfly garden.

Hi! My name is Gabriela Rivas Espinoza. I am licensed through the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor.

I received my Bachelor of Science in Forensic Psychology from Roosevelt University in 2019. After that, I graduated from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in June 2021 with a Masters in Counseling Psychology.

During my master’s, I had the opportunity to support clients from a variety of backgrounds - from college students to the elderly. My work included one-on-one sessions to help clients navigate hardships, deal with isolation, and discrimination and connect them with resources in the community. After receiving my master’s, I moved to Dallas and began my first experience helping children and adolescent groups conquer their traumas, anxiety, and depression by processing and reframing unhelpful thoughts through psychoeducation.

My approach to therapy is person-centered. This means I believe the client is the expert and I am here to help facilitate the path to overcoming your mental health challenges. I aim to accomplish this by providing active listening in a judgment-free environment where we can peel back the layers together to uncover the root problems and learn how to cope with those difficulties at a comfortable pace for you.

In my spare time, I like to watch tv shows, listen to podcasts and explore new restaurants.
