Hi, I’m Christina! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, and graduated in May 2025 from Tarleton State University—Fort Worth.

My approach to counseling is warm, collaborative, and grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I believe that healing happens in a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. Together, we’ll work to build healthier patterns, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change.

I offer individual and family counseling for children (10+), teens, and adults. My areas of focus include trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and family conflict. I also have a special connection to law enforcement and first responder communities, drawing from my own experience as a 911 dispatcher and my family’s service background.

Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or your family, my goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered.

Hello, my name is Lusana Darnell and I am a State of Licensed Professional Counselor. I earned my BA in Psychology from the University of Maryland European Division, UK. I then graduated with my MEd in Counseling in 2002 at Tarleton State University.

I spent five years working in an adolescent psychiatric hospital and then moved on to work in the field of education. I have spent 17 years in the educational system first as a teacher for six years and then as a school counselor for eleven years.

I have a deep passion for working with kids, adolescents, and adults. I strive to create a climate that is supportive and free from judgement. I know what it is like to feel “stuck” and “lost.” Sometimes it takes a non-biased, neutral party to help guide us to a healthier version of ourselves. I work with all issues that are causing people to seek help.

In my free time I love spending time with my dogs going for walks or the dog park, watching movies with my family, reading, painting, and crafting.
